The Sun Comes Up Tomorrow

from Human by Isgaard

about

THE SUN COMES UP TOMORROW describes the feelings of a person who is living on the streets and has left all bonds behind. Settled in a situation in which everything is reduced to the minium, he still develops a certain confidence.

lyrics

I take what's left, what others left behind
It's not what I like but more than I need
So I'm on the safe side

I don't complain, things could be worse
I'm still alive and so long ago
All my tears have dried

I try to hold on
From day to day from night to night
Till track of time is lost

I don't give up my hope
And step by step I'm moving on
This valley must be crossed

When the sun comes up tomorrow
And the pale moon's getting weak
I can breathe
My feet still on the ground

And the light wipes out the shadows
So the colour's coming back
I can see clear

When I look back to a past that slowly fades away
It feels like a film, that's made for myself
To remind me
It's like a stranger's life and I play the leading role
But I am not paid, my name is not shown
A movie-retiree

All links are cut
No friend to call, no family
I'm out here on my own

A future made of doubts
An empty map, that I'll complete
I'll face it all alone
